Learning to
dance? You’ve come to the right place!
At Broadway Ballroom, we enjoy training people
in the athletic art of ballroom dancing. Even if you've never danced
a step in your life, you'll feel right at home in this beautiful
studio.
Getting Started
The best way to start is with beginner group classes.
These are especially designed for people who are new to ballroom
dances. You'll cover the
most popular dances, including the Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Rumba,
Cha Cha, West Coast Swing and Jive. You'll start right at the beginning,
with the most basic steps. Before long, you'll feel comfortable enough
to move on to more sophisticated steps.
As
in learning most skills, people need to practice very regularly and
learn step by step. It is normal to stay in and repeat each
level for several months before being ready to advance. In each course,
you review material taught at the previous level and then learn new
steps and dance technique. Our goal is to train dancers to the highest
standard of each dance.
Beginner Classes
We have great beginner classes for those new to ballroom dancing. Beginner Latin classes are held on Saturdays from 4:00-5:00pm. Beginner Standard classes are held on Sundays from 4:00-5:00pm. Our promotion price for 10 classes is $67, taxes included.
Taking it further
After you get a little more familiar with the basics,
most people want to move on to experience a little more. We offer
technique classes that give you more information, so you can make
those steps look even better and more polished.

Private Lessons
For those who want to accelerate their training,
learn specific dances in detail, or who wish to develop their dancing
skills through competition, we recommend private lessons. Our world
class teachers, including Canadian champions, will work with you
one-to-one to perfect your skills. Fees vary, depending on which
instructor you choose. Click the "Instructors" menu to learn more
about the expert teachers at Broadway Ballroom.
At Broadway Ballroom, you have access to a range of training
options from group classes to private lessons. Shown above is a typical
group class.
Handy tips:
1 You do not need a partner to take
dance lessons. Most people sign up solo. Partners will rotate during
the class.
2 Wear comfortable but respectable clothing and shoes.
3 Relax and enjoy learning something
new. No one has any expectations of you.
4 Practice everyday,
even something small like steps or turning. Just a few minutes a
day can make a big difference.
