Golden Autumn Dance Festival
Broadway Ballroom will be the location of the Golden
Autumn Dance Festival October 16-17, 2009. A series of lectures by
top coaches and adjudicators on Friday night will be followed by
a full day of competition. Details here.
New Ballroom Basics Standard class
Young Ryu will be teaching our exciting new International
Standard classes for Newcomer to Bronze level dancers on Monday nights
from 7:30-8:30PM starting May 4. Come and take advantage of Young's
excellent teaching to master these dances, from the Waltz to the
Quickstep. A new dance is covered each month.
Baby Olesya Mitchenko born!
We're thrilled to announce that Olesya Michtchenko
was born at 9:04pm on Thursday, February 26, joining proud parents
Roland and Ekaterina and sister Ksenia. Knowing how amazing the
entire family is as ballroom dancers, we don't think it will be long
before we see little Olesya on the Broadway Ballroom dance floor!

dropping the cost by 50%. Purchase a book of 10 tickets for just
$50 and then double that value as a member. If you bring a guest,

Broadway Ballroom Dance Festival
This first-class DanceSport competition
taking place April 4, 2009 brings the best of Pro-Am and amateur
dancing to Vancouver. A perfect event to view the highest quality
competitive dancing, as it takes place just a week before the Canadian
Championships in Montreal, where many of these couples will battle
it out to see who is the best in the nation. Come to participate,
